British Heart Foundation

This Friday, our office is joining the Wear it. Beat it. campaign to raise money and awareness for the British Heart Foundation. It’s a worthy cause: every three minutes in the UK, someone suffers a heart attack, with nearly a third proving fatal. The British Heart Foundation is the UK’s leading charity challenging heart disease, funding research, education, care, and awareness campaigns. You can learn more about their work on the Wear it. Beat it. campaign page.

How We’re Taking Part

Richard will proudly be dressed in red, but as red isn’t my colour, I’ll be supporting the campaign in a different way. Rather than buying something red, which would divert funds from the cause, we’ve decided to get baking. Visitors to our new office this week will be able to enjoy treats such as 15s, ginger nut tiffin, and flapjacks in return for voluntary donations to the British Heart Foundation. It’s a simple and delicious way to contribute to a great cause.

When and Where

We’ll have someone in the office at Design Works (Google Maps) every day this week between 10am and 3pm. Pop in to celebrate with us, enjoy some tasty treats, and help support this important cause.
