Talbot Jones Ltd, Chartered Insurance Brokers, is proud to have secured Accredited Cyber Insurance Broker status from the British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA), recognising our specialist knowledge and practical experience in arranging cyber insurance for organisations.
The new BIBA initiative has been created to help insurance buyers identify brokers who can demonstrate a strong track record in arranging cyber insurance policies and who have taken the important step of purchasing cyber insurance for their own business. For clients, this provides added confidence that their broker understands cyber risk not only in theory, but in practice.
Why this accreditation matters
Cyber risk continues to be one of the most pressing challenges facing UK businesses, charities and professional practices. Attacks are becoming more sophisticated, and the consequences of a cyber incident can include business interruption, financial loss, reputational damage, regulatory issues and the cost of specialist recovery support.

Talbot Jones Ltd has purchased cyber insurance for its own business and completed Cyber Essentials towards the end of 2025, underlining our belief that cyber protection should combine risk management, good governance and appropriate insurance cover.
