The interior design at home is very much my remit, but when we launched Talbot Jones Risk Solutions, Richard was excited to create an office that reflected our interests, values, and passions—rather than a drab, dull workplace.

A Unique Commission: Angel of the North
Our newest addition is a piece commissioned by local artist Lucy Hudson of Button It Crafts, based in her home studio in Wylam, Northumberland.
We asked her to create art that reflected our brand. Lucy cleverly used teal and orange buttons to produce a striking image of the Angel of the North.
Symbol of Home: Seeing its outstretched arms as we drive north along the A1 reminds us we’ll soon be home.
Iconic North East Symbol: Represents safety and protection, reflecting the service we provide our clients.

About Lucy Hudson and Button It Crafts
Lucy creates bright and colourful mixed media statement art pieces. Alongside her striking pet portraits, she is now expanding to offer business commissions, producing artwork that perfectly complements a company’s brand in terms of colour, style, and subject.

Business Origin: Lucy founded Button It Crafts 2 years ago after leaving her role as Head of Dance at a Northumberland school, aiming to combine her passion for art and creative entrepreneurship
